Sharing in Zoom
Choose the surface you mean to show.
Zoom lets you share a desktop or a particular application window. That choice changes what the interviewer receives. ApplicantAlly’s desktop window has content protection on by default; the team has checked it in standard Zoom desktop and browser screen sharing. Test your own screen or window selection before a real interview.

Sound in Zoom
Share Sound is for the other participants.
Zoom’s Share Sound control sends your computer audio into the meeting while you share. It does not turn on ApplicantAlly’s capture of the interviewer. Leave it off unless the interview task requires others to hear audio from your computer. Zoom explains the option in its Share Sound guide.
On macOS, Zoom and ApplicantAlly request their own microphone and screen permissions. A Zoom screen-share permission does not grant ApplicantAlly the permissions it needs. Zoom lists its requirements in its macOS permissions guide.

- Check that ApplicantAlly receives your microphone and the remote speaker's Zoom audio.
- Try Quick Answer with a harmless sample question so you know where the response appears.
- Share the exact window or display you intend to show and check the recipient view.
- If the task includes a visible prompt, move it onto the intended display before Screen Analysis.
