Is the desktop Web App as good as the native app?

Desktop web quality can be close to native when the browser captures your microphone and the shared interview audio separately. The native app remains the best overall option because its audio path is more deeply integrated, it is not limited by browser behavior, and it adds overlay and Stealth Mode.

Does the desktop Web App have overlay or Stealth Mode?

No. Desktop web runs as a normal browser window, so you need to switch between windows or use a split-screen layout. Overlay, Stealth Mode, and native operating-system integrations are available in the desktop app.

Is the mobile Web App undetectable from the interview computer?

Yes. When ApplicantAlly runs on a separate phone, there is no ApplicantAlly window, process, microphone listener, or screen-share source on the interview computer. The phone itself is still a physical object, so use it responsibly and follow the rules of the interview.

Why is mobile transcription less accurate?

A phone browser receives both the interviewer and candidate through one microphone as a mixed audio stream. Unlike native and desktop web, it cannot physically capture and label the two audio sources separately, so speaker separation and ASR accuracy are lower.

Can I use Screen Analysis in the Web App?

Yes. Desktop web can capture the relevant screen through the browser. Mobile web can use the phone camera or a photo to add a task, document, code sample, or interface to the answer context.

Do the Web App and native app use the same account and minutes?

Yes. Both use the same ApplicantAlly account, interview-time balance, resumes, Jobs, and session history. You can choose the surface that fits each interview without maintaining separate accounts.

Does the Web App work with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. ApplicantAlly Web App works alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other common interview platforms. On desktop, available audio capture depends on what the browser and selected share source provide. On mobile, the phone listens through its own microphone.
